Founded in 2010, Millard Machinery has grown to become a global leader in the procurement and supply of premium used Caterpillar equipment. Under the leadership of Founder and CEO Tony Millard, the business has established an outstanding reputation for integrity, industry expertise, and an unwavering commitment to customer service. With nearly two decades of experience in the global machinery industry, Tony has developed an extensive international network and deep market knowledge that enables Millard Machinery to source some of the world’s most sought-after Caterpillar equipment.

The strength of the business was recognised in 2021 when Millard Machinery was acquired by Quadrant Private Equity and integrated into its industrial portfolio. In 2023, Tony successfully reacquired 100% ownership of the company, once again becoming its sole owner and CEO. Since returning to full ownership, Millard Machinery has continued to strengthen its market presence, expand its global reach, and reinforce its reputation as one of the world’s most trusted independent specialists in used Caterpillar equipment.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Tony has built a highly respected reputation in the global machinery sales, sourcing, and supply industry.

After successfully growing Millard Machinery into one of Australia’s leading independent Used Caterpillar equipment specialists, the business attracted the attention of private equity investors. In 2021, Tony sold Millard Machinery to Quadrant Private Equity, which integrated the company into its industrial portfolio alongside Grays.

In 2023, Tony reached an agreement with Quadrant Private Equity to reacquire 100% ownership of Millard Machinery, once again becoming the company’s sole owner and CEO.

Since returning to full ownership, Tony has continued to expand the business, strengthening its market share, enhancing its international reputation, and further cementing Millard Machinery’s position as a trusted supplier of quality Caterpillar equipment to customers worldwide.
